Terms and Conditions

Availability:

Before making any payments, please confirm  availability with booking agent by email: [email protected]

Please provide the Manager with your passport details by email and photocopies of passport of all guests on arrival.

 

2012 TERMS AND CONDITIIONS  

PROVISIONAL Bookings will be held provisionally for two weeks after request

CONFIRMATION: 50% deposit is required to hold the booking

A REMINDER FOR FINAL PAYMENT will be send 5 weeks before arrival date.

FINAL PAYMENT  must be received at least one month before arrival date

LOST BOOKING: If balance is not received two weeks before arrival date the booking  may be lost, unless prior written arrangement is made.

NB: If final payment is not made and booking is considered dishonoured and the full deposit will be lost.

CHANGE OF DATE  subject to availability may be made if at least one month before arrival date and a 10% charge will be added.

CANCELLATION of a booking  more than two months before date of arrival, 10% of deposit will be retained.  For less than one  month before arrival date 50% of deposit will be retained. For less than two weeks before arrival  the full deposit will be retained.

EARLY TERMINATION OF VISIT due to lack of service at the property (failure  of water or electricity) so that   guests are unable to stay, the affected days will be refunded in full.

 

BREAKAGES

Our home is rented out on trust and we hope that guests will take care of our property as if it were their own, and notify us of any breakages. 

The Manager at Casa Quintino is entitled to collect reimbursements  for any losses, breakages or  damages to the property, electronics, furniture, kitchen equipment or bedding that has been damaged due to negligence of the guests.

BOOKING PERIOD 

We try to be as flexible as possible to accomodate guests own itinerary There is no specific day for changes, but Saturday is preferred.

MINIMUM STAY 

A seven night minimum stay is required for Casa Quintino.

TRANSPORT 

It is vital that you have your own car if you are staying at Casa Quintino.

The location is fairly remote being 4km of the main road, and there is no public transport, except a bus and train from main towns.

TRAVEL 

Casa Quintino & Loving Tuscany take no responsibility  whatsoever for  your travel arrangements, or any delay or cancellation due to flights.

The price of travel is not included use the links to any Travel or bookings websites and make your own bookings. 

LIABILITY

By booking and paying for your accommodation you accept full liability and accept the terms of your stay.

Loving Tuscany team, ( the owners, property management and any associated service providers to the property) accept no responsibility for any losses, damage or death to persons or personal property or hired property whatsoever.

Guests and visitors accept the use of Casa Quintino, its facilities and surrounds on an ‘as is’ basis and do so entirely at their own risk.

Casa Quintino is not ideal for elderly, frail, physically challenged, or toddlers  as it is located in a natural environment with natural hazards (dangerous insects, occasional snakes, uneven paths, steep banks, natural unfenced ponds etc). The collapsing ruins on the property have been fenced and entrance to them is forbidden. 

Misuse of facilities, property or the surrounding area is not acceptable and any failure to behave in a responsible, respectful and reasonable fashion may result in the termination of your stay with immediate effect and the loss of your payment.

Right to remain on the property is granted at the sole discretion of the owner and property management personnel.

EMERGENCY:

Personal insurance for health and property is highly recommended.

The Pronto di Soccorso (Emergency) Hospital in Volterra is at least 30 minutes away, on the road out of Volterra, direction Siena.

THE CHARGES INCLUDE
pre-arrival cleaning, water, electricity, Internet, basic SKY TV Channels, booking fee, bedding (sheets and towels).

THE CHARGES EXCLUDE: Cook/chef, Excursions and lessons, extra cleaning, food & drink,  telephone,  Car hire, breakages, toiletries, clothes,  Soap  and other cleaning accessories.

All pending bookings will be notified of any changes.
